I have been using Clever Tots Day Nursery for the past eight and a half years and they have cared for all three of my children, my youngest son is two and he is currently still attending.

 I have always found that it is a very warm and inviting nursery with lots of lovey staff who always take the time to build up a lovely relationship with the children and ensure every setting is fun, creative and safe. My children have learnt so much from their time there. Even when I go to collect my son now with my older two children they get so excited to go back inside and see some of their old teachers and see the rooms where they used to play.



The management team in particular are always very friendly and always seem to be finding new ways to try and improve the nursery. I also think how they safeguard the children is amazing. I've never had any problems with the nursery at all in all the years we have used it, to me it seems that Clever Tots as a whole has just got better and stronger over time and I can not fault it at all.

Being a first time mum I was very nervous about going back to work and leaving Kian at nursery for 2 days a week, but I have to say the team at Clever Tots have been amazing. We attended the settle in days and the team were great at putting my mind at rest and also answering all the questions I had. Since attending clever tots my sons physical and social development has come on leaps and bounds. In the space of 3 months Kian has gone from barely crawling to nearly walking on his own. He is a happy, confident, cheeky little chap, he isn’t afraid to get involved with the other children and play games.

Kian's daily report also allows me to review his day and the girls also provide further feedback on how he has been throughout the day. I am reassured that he has eaten well and interacted well with the other children in his group. It’s lovely to see that when dropping Kian off in the morning, he will happily go to the girls for a cuddle and at the end of each day he is smiling and waving bye bye to everyone.

I am really please with clever tots, I have to say a special thank you to Kim, Karleigh and Maryanne as they have been amazing, not only at making me feel reassured but also ensuring that Kian has a great time at nursery.

Our eldest son Theo started at Clever Tots three and a half years ago, later joined by his little brother Kasper nine months ago. Both boys attend full day sessions five days a week and absolutely love the time they spend at nursery. Every morning they run into their respective rooms eager to start on their day's activities.

Clever Tots provide a huge range of activities for the children to do each day with lots of crafts, baking, games, garden time, singing and reading as well as opportunities for unstructured play. Theo looks forward to his weekly football session and used to enjoy yoga when he was younger.

The boys have also enjoyed learning about festivals that we do not celebrate at home such as Diwali and Chinese New Year. I really like the diversity and multiculturalism at the nursery.

The nursery also does a great job at keeping parents informed as to what the children will be doing in the weeks ahead via their monthly newsletter. I also receive a detailed daily report for my younger son. Every six weeks we receive personalised development reports and the next steps we can look out for at home which I have found very insightful particularly with my younger son.

I have been really impressed with some of the recent learning opportunities the children have had such as nurturing their own butterflies and looking at their life cycles from caterpillar to cocoon to butterfly. Theo also really enjoyed Science week in which the children set up lots of experiments, a favourite being the erupting volcano!



Theo leaves nursery in a couple of months to start school. He is well equipped and ready for the transition but he will be sad to say goodbye!
